On October 24, Chairman Xu Zhanglai and General Manager Qian Zhongzheng of Shanghai Kenting Communication Technology Co., Ltd. gave a special lecture entitled Edge Computing under 5G in the second conference room on the fourth floor of the Business School. More than 130 people including faculty, doctoral and master students from the Business School attended the lecture.
The purpose of this lecture is to enable students in school to learn about the latest hotspots and trends in the development of science and technology in the field of professional research, to cultivate compound talents, and to strengthen the relationship between enterprises and schools, so that teachers and students of the school can have a deeper understanding of the current enterprise management mode and make it faster Be well integrated into society and enterprises, avoid being out of touch with society during graduation work or internship.

In his lecture report Edge Computing under 5G, General Manager Qian Zhongcheng first introduced 5G in detail from the development and evolution of mobile communications, 5G network structure and 5G network slicing. Then, General Manager Qian Zhongzheng introduced what is edge computing and the architecture of MEC, so that the teachers and students present have a deep understanding of the concept and basic architecture of edge computing. Finally, General Manager Qian Zhongzheng described the application scenarios of MEC, including scenarios such as the Internet of Things, video surveillance, media and entertainment application cases, and further deepened the teachers and students present on the edge of computing.
