At the same time, Professor David Ríos Insua, academician of the Royal Spanish Academy of Sciences, attended the opening ceremony simultaneously online. He said that systems science is very rich and challenging. In recent years, system science has developed rapidly. After the opening ceremony, Guo Lei, Zhu Daoli and David Ríos Insua gave keynote speeches at the main forum, which was hosted by Professor Gao Yan, the leader of the system science discipline of the Business School of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. In the afternoon, three sub-forums, Modeling, Simulation and Optimization of Complex Systems, System Analysis Theory and Application, and Optimization and Management of Urban Sustainable Transportation Systems were held simultaneously online.
